Information for Community Action Teams

A Community Action Team is made up of community committees consisting of one or more people from the community that advise the board of directors on any number of activities.

The most successful communities have a committee for each major function in the community such as a Pool Committee, Landscape Committee, etc.

Some committees like pool and landscape may be on-going while others may be established to advise the board of directors on the next painting or roofing project, and then the committee will end once the project is complete.

What is a Community Action Team?

If you desire to help your community by serving on a committee, simply attend a board of directors meeting and let them know.

The Board may have existing committees that you can join, or they may establish a new committee if you wish to help in an area where a committee doesn’t exist yet.

Keep in mind that committees must be appointed by the board of directors since they are designed to advise the board.
